You know, I actually kinda get the concept behind a Trump supporter dating site -- a ton of people on Match, etc., are saying "no Trump supporters" on their profile. (I have to admit -- I've dated conservatives, liberals and libertarians, no problem, but I think an enthusiastic Trump supporter and I would have a hard time dating. He's a polarizing figure and no mistake.)
But (a) come on, they could pick their model a little better than that, and (2) the "straight people only" thing is in-your-face obnoxious and plays right into every negative stereotype people have of Trump supporters.* The only thing that could have made it worse is specifying "straight white people."
*ETA:
Of course, one assumes the person who started the site is in fact proud of that particular negative stereotype.

The other fun thing about that site is that while they don't want teh sinful gays, they're good with cheating spouses. A couple of stories noted that they specifically have a category for married people looking to date.
Traditional values, dontcha know.

Cass, I already signed you up and made you a profile.
Should I set you up with Rob Porter or David Sorensen?

I'd think there's a difference between dating someone who supports Trump and dating someone who registers on a site to ID just as a Trump supporter.
I know people who support Trump who are reasonable people. They may support him in some things, but cringe at other.

Yes, but Cass loves digging into this stuff. We could set them up on a date, but it'll all be a ploy for Cass to find out the truth.

For point of info, Match.com--through it's subsidiary People Media--runs a bunch of politically and culturally themed sites as well, targeting Repubs, Dems, specific races, specific religions, and so on.

I totally see why it makes sense to allow users to narrow their choices to those with whom they might be compatible. If you are a fervent Christian, you probably don't want to date an atheist, and he/she probably doesn't want to date you either. Straight people and gay people aren't going to want to date each other. To be clear, I wouldn't outlaw a dating site that focuses solely on one narrow demographic. Still, this straight people only thing feels kinda gross to me. I am white and straight, but I wouldn't use a dating site that focused solely on white straight people because my bet is that the people who would be attracted to such a site would be...not my type. I'd probably not feel the same if I was, say, a Muslim trans woman seeking same -- but then, if you are a minority, it's a lot harder to find each other. There is no lack of white straight people. It is sad that we've reached a point where who you support politically might be a deal breaker, but I think we're there. I could possibly date someone who, say, had voted for Trump but now was "gaah, I'd never do that again!" But not someone who still thought he was teh awesome. My brother and I haven't been able to discuss politics at all over this last year for this reason. He thinks I'm a deluded libtard. I think...well, you can guess what I think. (He's bringing up a pack of baby libtards, though. All of his girls think Trump is horrible. The boy thinks he's funny, but then he is six years old. A lot of things are funny when you are six years old.)

Well,I for one don't think the Trump site--or any of those run by Friends Worldwide--is even legitimate. No one is meeting anyone for real there, by and large. They're just talking to fabricated users who just seek to lure them in in order to get them to subscribe, ala Ashley Madison.
