How I feel about funky accessories and the like (unusual hairstyles, facial hair, etc.) depends entirely on the person wearing them. On some people, those glasses might feel like a natural reflection of their personality and taste, in which case they might be fun and perhaps sexy. On others, they might feel like an awkward, forced attempt to be hip, in which case they'd be annoying.
I used to know a guy who often wore a scarf -- for style, not warmth. Some guys would look ridiculous, but somehow it worked for him. It just seemed like it grew on him. Some guys (and indeed, some women -- I know one!) look insanely hot with a shaved head. Others, yeah, not so much. Some people look stupid in hats, others carry them off with aplomb.
I can imagine the guy who'd rock these glasses -- he'd seem to be unconscious of just how funky his glasses are. But a lot of guys would feel totally self-conscious, and then they'd just look stupid.
ETA:
They seem to work on Bernard.

Jim Lampley was wearing a similar pair for a long time, but he stopped:

Those were nerd glasses when I was growing up. I think they called them "horn rims" or something like that. Didn't Buddy Holly wear those?

What makes these a little different is that they're a matte black finish and the frames are pretty flat. There was a lot of speculation about Lampley's: many people insisted his frames had no lenses (untrue), that he just wore them to stand out (probably true).
Honestly, I need new glasses and I've been considering a pair like these.

Otherwise, people would wear rimless. It looks to me like Bernard's are navy blue with even some purple on the sides. DO IT!!! And then post us pics.
