PhilosophyBro.com is rather entertaining (and informative). It's definitely got NSFW language (because the author's shtick is explaining philosophy like a douchebag frat guy would), but it's pretty good. The main page just shows responses to emails he gets, but there are two lists of links to the bottom right of the screen where you can search for information by philosopher or by subject. www.philosophybro.com/

Very much hope Optimus posts more. One of my favorite peeps evah. <3 I spent over an hour on the philosophybro site today, and it was extremely intriguing (and dude is hilarious). It occurred to me that I've never taken so much as an intro to Philosophy college course (psychology, sociology but no philosophy...it was all electives). It feels now like I may have missed an opportunity. This sort of "philosophical" analysis is always running through my head when I'm discussing/thinking about politics, and life in general. Maybe I should ditch the politics and dive into philosophy. Thanks very much for the links and the subforum.

Very much hope Optimus posts more. One of my favorite peeps evah. <3 I'm not sure if anyone likes "edutainment" vids, but the Crash Course series on YouTube is really good. For anyone who hasn't heard of them, it was started by Hank Green (of vlogbrothers fame with his brother John) and other people who were also involved in the SciShow series. They have several different subject areas and, while not as detailed as something like Khan Academy vids, they tend to give very good summaries of topics. I show the psychology ones in some of my classes. They started a series on philosophy earlier this year and it's been pretty good so far. Again, they don't get deep into the subjects, but they give good overviews that are informative and might even spark an interest in people who wouldn't otherwise think they'd like the subjects. Here's the link to their list of philosophy vids. They add a new one every few weeks: Crash Course Philosophywww.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL8dPuuaLjXtNgK6MZucdYldNkMybYIHKR
