Is that a challenge or a punishment?

I already did before you instructed me to. It's very entertaining. Sometimes cringe-worthy. And occasionally, he makes good sense.

Is that a challenge or a punishment? The former, but it will probably feel like the latter, or at least it does to me. But I read them. I don't support him, but he's the President, and those are his official statements. I read them. They are, in fact, monstrous, insufferable, and egomaniacal. It might provide a useful point of comparison. Here's my favorite from yesterday: Harry Reid retired; he was not thrown out. He has pancreatic cancer. Now THAT is "monstrous" and "insufferable", and given that it comes from Trump's umbrage at Reid's opposition to him, it comes from Trump's insanely pathologically large ego.

This still has nothing to do with AOC or the GND, as much as you would like it to.

I cannot help myself; I adore absurdity, and your post provided so much.

Glad to be of service. Yours just make me sad. For several reasons.

I understand Cass's obession with the Trump tweets as it's like complaining about the guy who hums annoyingly while he works while ignoring the one who curses, throws things and on occasion humps an empty desk chair.
At the same time, I also understand why CE is getting ignored that she can't mention the humming guy without someone dismissing their point because of the dude humping the chair.
For those who are having issues following this analogy, AOC is the hummer and Trump the humper.

A better analogy would be the guy complaining about a dripping faucet getting annoyed by that person who is pointing out that the house is on fire.
For those having issues following this analogy, AOC is the dripping faucet and Trump is the house on fire. And yes, I'm a little obsessed about the burning house and not having much time for those who ignore it and focus solely on the dripping faucet.
ETA:
That captures the disproportion between the two things complained of better than your analogy. However, it still doesn't capture the hypocrisy. It's more like a parent with six screaming, rambunctious children at a restaurant complaining about someone at another table talking a shade too loud . It's like the person who blasts their music all day and night every day complaining when you throw a New Years Eve party. It's like someone who strews their garbage all over the place complaining when you drop a candy wrapper.

We are not here to discuss only Trump, no matter how much some folks think he's the be-all and end-all of everything bad in the universe. He's not. Really, he's not. And IMO, it's much healthier to not be obsessed with the man. And discussing things other than Trump, on a message board for political discussion, in a thread that's purportedly not even about Trump, does not mean folks are ignoring Trump. Why is this even a thing that needs to be pointed out? Maybe we should rename this board Trump's Colline Gate.
Edited to Add: MAGA!

Thats a bit disturbing.

Ah, but you are never around to discuss Trump, ce. Busy, busy, busy.
We don't discuss much of real importance on this board any more. It's dripping faucets, mostly. And don't say start threads. I do, I have. People prefer talking about the small follies of freshmen congress critters. And you most of all.

I’m not so much busy as hesitant to be called a hypocrite for the millionth time. It’s gets old. And yeah my daily news, my Twitter feed, my extra readings, the Oscars, the NFL, EVERYHING is about Trump these days. Pardon me for wanting to talk about other things now and again.

Facebook is where I go when I just want to goof around and relax.
Increasingly, Twitter is where I'm going when I want to interact on stuff that matters.
