The Atlantic commissioned a county-by-county study of political intolerance. Note that this article deals strictly with partisan prejudice, not racism, sexism, or ageism, but simply the willingness to live and let live when it comes to political alignments. The maps may or may not be eye-opening, depending on your views at present. I found all three interesting, and based on my travels, accurate as well.

Not at all surprised. The obliviousness (and bigotry) of some of the more elite, white liberals seems to tie directly to how much they ostracize themselves from regular folk, causing them to oftentimes have what I see as some distorted (to put it nicely) views of the very marginalized groups they claim to care about. Bubbles beget ignorance and wokeness seems to sometimes mask an ironic paradox of implicit negative stereotypes born of that navel-gazing ignorance: www.miamiherald.com/news/nation-world/national/article222424675.html
