Joe (or anyone) should have puffed his chest out and said, "No, let's not say, yes we can. If you think you can, why don't you share those details with the American people how you plan on getting around congress and the constitution, so they can judge if you can do what you say or if you're full of hot air."

Not sure why, but I really liked this turn of phrase from the article:

I'm uncomfortable with FB--or any other platform--controlling ad content through "fact-checking." I mean Warren's right: the move by FB was simply a means of getting more jingle. It seems to me that FB and other platforms should be governed by the same rules that govern all media outlets, when it comes to political ads. Of course, that's a problem because of how easy it is to run shit on social media. But I think I have a solution...
Oh and FYI, I haven't been around for a while because I've been selling my house and moving to a new place. Let me tell you, cleaning out 20 years of living and downsizing from a 4/3--with garage, office, attics, yard, and pool--to a 2/2 townhouse is no simple thing.

Just read that Beto dropped out.
I say good news. Would've been an awkward debate if Trump got impeached and the Repubs nominated an AR-15 as their candidate.

Harris is as done as Beto, she's just too stubborn to admit it. As are Booker and Castro.
Looking like the field is going to narrow to Biden, Warren, and Buttigieg soon.

Don't count Tulsi out, what with the Russians behind her and all. Look what they did for Clinton...and Trump...and Stein.

So, Bloomberg has apparently entered the race. The piece makes what the quite salient point that Bloomberg, like Trump (and Giuliani) freely switch from party to party, depending on their own current needs (however, it wrongly tries to cut Bloomberg a little slack, imo, probably because of the author's politics). And we have Deval Patrick jumping in, as well: I think Patrick is a serious-minded guy, and I don't think he'd make this move unless he had some strong support from top dogs in the party. Which means, I think, that he has to be taken seriously.
