Apparently there's a new scam where police can arrest you for "DUI-weed" because they've been trained to recognize subconscious signals that you're drug-impaired. Cobb County, GA has sent 250 officers through this pseudo-science scam and they're destroying lives based on junk science. The video details three cases, but apparently there have been far more.
In the face of the failures, the police claim that this training enables them to spot people who are using that the blood tests fail to catch.
Read that again. Yep, they claim their "trained" officers are correct and the blood tests are wrong.
Thankfully, the courts have disagreed... so far.

How many people lose their jobs, have major financial loss, because they have to defend against this? How many took guilty pleas because they couldn't afford lawyers? Be interesting to know racial make up of the sample? Does officer training tell them black teens are high more than white, older women?

Not at all surprised that this is going on in GA.
Doubly unsurprised that it's in Cobb County.
