I know I'm far from the only one confused by this. George Conway, virulent anti-Trumper and Kelly Anne, Trump's constant defender, are married. Still.
I concede it's perfectly possible for a couple to disagree about politics, but this isn't that. And I truly would like someone to explain to me how a man who says this of Trump (see below) can stay in a relationship with someone who defends the president. A marriage is about friendship as much as anything else, so how can they still be friends?!
"He’s also a moron, a narcissist, a fraud, a pathological liar, a sociopath, and a racist. He’s this incredible embodiment of many of the very worst possible traits that a human being could possibly have, all in one person."
It's a serious question, one I've wondered about before, but this tweet prompted the post because there is no ambiguity at all about his feelings. So how do you have dinner with a person who you know is supporting and enabling a man in power exhibiting such awful qualities??

The Clinton's, years ago, tought us to reevaluate our assumptions of what marriage is all about.
And who knows, maybe it's a trigger competition to see who gets to keep the house. ((Shrug))

They're the "Evil Spock" alternate version of Mary Matalin and James Carville?
