Absolutely. But at the same time, I don't think the primary motivation of all rich people--who shouldn't be called "capitalists" just because they are wealthy--is to maintain and increase wealth. And it's the second, third, and later generations of wealthy families where this becomes apparent: the generations who spend it, as opposed to the ones who earned it. And this is why wealthy families can rise and fall, as well (which is not exactly the same thing as large companies rising and falling).
