FYI, new rules in the Welcome thread. Excellent addition to the rules! Batteries from the 70's are bad enough - secret batteries from the 70's are just plain wrong.

Batteries from the 70s should show themselves so we can condemn them for the scourge they are.

Pfft. Everyone knows batteries from the 70's are too cowardly and un-buff to show themselves. They're far too insecure to do anything but cower in the shadows.

Secret batteries that expired 80 years ago are the worst of all.

There is a way to do a top and bottom button, but it's floating and I thought it looked bad. But I'll go in and add it back and see what everyone thinks.

Okay. That's how it looks, the arrow in the lower right hand corner. There's also a "back to bottom" arrow when you're near the top of a page.

I don't mind the way it looks, myself. And it's handy.

Yep, it works for me. Also solves a problem I've been noticing where, when I click on the next page button from the bottom of a page, I get taken to to the bottom of the next page instead of the top.

That sounds more like a personal problem...

Can we do feature requests? Will the be ignored? Is this a "rented" discussion board space where the "admins" can't do jack soup about board features?
Anyway, I just clicked search and did the following:
"Search for posts posted within the last 2 days, made by Everybody, and display results as posts."
by filling in the date and time fields with 2 and 0 respectively, and it did the marvelous thing I was hoping it would do, displaying the most recent post first.
Is there any way a link/button could be added that does this?
Yours Questioningly, Ben.

Oh, here's this thread. Please add the post in my other new thread to this one.
Maybe I should look here to see if it's been answered...

Have you tried the "Recent Posts" link near the bottom of the home page?

Is Don's solution the type of thing you mean, Ben?
