Maybe it's because today is the 100 year anniversary of the final evacuation of Gallipoli?
Regardless, I've read the above piece several times now and I just can't seem to process the argument, that apparently victory in Gallipoli would have somehow prevented the Russian Revolution (which is problematic, since victory in Gallipoli was, I think, a fantasy from the get-go). Am I missing something. Because this vexes me. I'm terribly vexed...
