It is oddly adorable.
Come to think of it, though, what's not to like about honeybees? They're fuzzy. They're social. They make honey. And they go "whoop!"

They're also pretty smart and can trained to use tools or perform specific behaviors. There's an addendum to the vid from that experiment where the bees started working in teams to pull on the rope to teach the other bees how to do it, but I can't find that one.

I get the delicious cupcake. Angie can have the explosion. She likes explosions.
Chocolate peanut-butter? Did you really make it?

Yep. 20 years in restaurants as my former career. In that time, I trained with a pastry chef for a little while. Make my batter and icing all from scratch. Those are chocolate-chip devils food with peanut butter cream cheese icing. Drizzled some homemade chocolate sauce on top and shoved tiny lil' peanut butter cups in them.
I also make really good pumpkin pie cupcakes with pumpkin cream cheese icing. I'm partial to cream cheese icings more than butter cream.
I can post recipes if you want, lol.

I do want recipes! I bake, too. And always from scratch.
We could start a recipe thread in the lawyers and strippers forum (which a few of us have been treating as the "not a damn thing to do with politics or current events" forum).
Very impressive and professional looking, Opty.

Optimus -- this one shows bees learning from other other bees to pull a string: and in this one, they seem to work in teams:

Yes! Those are the vids I was referring to. I posted them on my FB page a while back but couldn't find them.

And now you know I'm sufficiently nerdy to go looking for them!

So then there may be hope for Congress?

So then there may be hope for Congress? I'm afraid Congress critters aren't as smart as bees. I think our only recourse is to smoke out the hive.
