I'm pretty sure I saw Diana Prince and Steve Rogers making out on a bench in the left-side video...

Footage of New York in 1911, eight minutes of it. Just amazing. www.moma.org/calendar/exhibitions/3858?locale=eneta: in case you have not figured it out, I am an absolute sucker for anything historical. Never go to a museum of any kind with me unless you share my passion. I guarantee you'll want to leave before I do (and I'll let you go -- but alone!). If you come across any cool links about historical stuff, you can make me squeal like a little girl if you post it. Anything, really -- mummies, ruins, ancient weaponry, old photos, vintage machinery. Post it! Post it! I like science-y stuff, too. Post it! Post it! And if it is both historical-y and science-y, I faint with delight. Post! Post! (Also, I need breaks from the political stuff. Every once in awhile it starts depressing the hell out of me.)

This video of Melanie singing "Lay Down" was shot in Miami in 1969:
I know most of the locations in it. Suffice it to say, things look quite different now...
