...are what I just used as "bread crumbs" on top of my homemade mac 'n cheese.
They're also good for breading homemade chicken fingers or nuggets. Soak raw chicken strips/nuggets for at least 30 minutes in milk with Hidden Valley Ranch packet mixed in it, then roll in seasoned flour (pepper, salt, and Old Bay seasoning), egg wash, roll in hot cheetos crumbs and fry.
Just thought I'd pass that along, especially for @cassandraw .

You should create a Cheetos cookbook.
You could plan an entire Cheetos-oriented menu especially for the next State of the Union address. (okay, maybe not dessert. You can make mango sorbet or something.)

I suspect that they'd also be good for clogging arteries, if they're ground up to a fine powder.
But I actually prefer the baked Cheetos. Luckily, there seems to be a baked version of these, so I'll give 'em a go.

Apropos of nothing except cooking, I'm making chicken matzo ball soup. I've never made it myself before. I make chicken soup a lot, but not with matzo balls -- not sure why, since I adore them.
I'm not sure my matzo balls are going to measure up to the best ones I've had in Jewish delis; I may need to experiment to get this one right.

I would just like to say that my matzo balls turned out perfectly and I am very proud.

I really should have 20 kids so I can cook all the stuff I like. Now I want to make latkes (which I have made successfully before), but it's just plain dangerous to live alone and make latkes. Maybe I'll invite people over and have a latke party -- that's what I do when I'm craving, e.g., fondue (another food it's not particularly practical to make for one).

I'm also going to make a cheesecake tomorrow. Last time I made a Snickers cheesecake. This time, I think I'm just going to dump a bunch of chocolate chips and Reece's Pieces in it.

This is how a lot of cults start out... Well, sure -- you get in it for the latkes and cheesecake, and next thing you know it's thetans and human sacrifices.

Crushed up, Flamin' Hot Cheetos... are what I just used as "bread crumbs" on top of my homemade mac 'n cheese... Marry me?

I've recently discovered that I like the "Sweet Chili Heat" Cheetos as the crumbs even more than the Flamin' Hot.
