Is this sexual assault?
I'm being semi-facetious...then again, maybe I'm not. I don't know anymore.
What I do know is that if some douchey-looking guy stuck his tongue in the mouth of a young woman he didn't know, there'd be hell to pay, kiss-cam or no kiss-cam. And who willingly kisses a Pats fan, regardless?!?
But seriously, the commercial doesn't actually bother me at all and I wouldn't have given it a second thought, except that I now feel like I've been "trained" to look for over-the-line behavior in everything.
Thoughts?

She was clearly the aggressor here, and I distinctly did not hear her ask for permission to kiss him. She just grabbed him and put the lip lock on him. AAMOF, I got the distinct impression they had never even been properly introduced. Total strangers. Quite obviously, this meets the standard of sexual assault on any number of college campuses. I'll let Vince clarify the law based on the latest changes.
OTOH, do I think it was sexual assault? Look at the guy's facial expressions and body language. Hell, no. It was a fantasy come true, not an assault. He even had a split-second to turn away if he'd wanted, as she slowed for the landing, although she didn't keep her eyes open on the way in to check for a wave-off. I'd also say the same if the genders were reversed, given equivalent signaling.

If it were a college? Probably not, because she kissed him. Girls can hit guys, admit to it and it be fine with colleges. Unless she had taken a sip of beer, then yeah, he assaulted her. Even if she says otherwise.
Of course, it'll depend on who you ask. I don't have video, but someone woman was being interviewed and she grabbed the guys crotch, I assume to make a point about trump. She was asked if that was sexual assault and she said yes.

OMFG
And yeah, I'd say the same thing if the guy had leaned in for the kiss that ensued.
Rob is trolling.

Nah, I'm not trolling. I'm just catching myself noting things that I never would have given a second thought in days gone by and I was wondering if this was happening to others, as well.

See, that's just silliness. If you were properly woke, you would have recognized that although the act was sexual assualt, she was "punching up" so her actions were valid. She put that guy in his place as retribution for all the similar acts her gender put up with over the centuries. This was social justice, not assault.
