Not my cup of tea, to be sure, but I can still appreciate it. Still, spending $91 million on it is pretty excessive. Also, there's this: Wait, $11 million in "auctioneer's fees"? I've been to auctions before and even but a few things. I remember when I bought two foo lion sculptures for the hefty price of $800. And I paid $800 plus tax; the person selling the piece was on the hook for any auctioneer's fees (i.e. the auction house took a cut). Has this dynamic changed, or is it different for super high-end stuff? Anyone know?

I had the impression the fees were much smaller (as, IMO, they should be).
