Does anybody watch it?
Can we talk about that season 2 finale?
Pretty much the greatest season finale ever?

Spoilers...obviously.
I was shocked that they brought Luke back. In the episode "The Tragedy," when Grogu uses the stone to communicate with another Jedi, I figured about the only people who would've been able to reach would be Luke, Ezra Bridger (from Rebels), or maybe a new character we weren't aware of. Given that they'd already teased Asohka's solo series where she'll be searching for Thrawn (so that she can find Ezra), it seemed unlikely that it'd be Ezra. And, given how much disdain for Luke that the moron Kathleen Kennedy and her "the Force is female!" dipshit acolytes have shown, I was highly doubtful we'd ever see Luke again, especially since Kennedy was so instrumental in allowing "Ruin" Johnson to shit all over the character in the horrible "The Last Jedi."
But, when Red 5 zoomed onto the screen...gotta admit I got goosebumps. Still wasn't sure when he was slashing his way through the halls (on the monitor) if it was really him. But, man oh man, when that green lightsaber burst on screen, I was cheering out loud. Literally had tears when he decimated his way through the hallway leading to the bridge, just like his papa at the end of Rogue One. Couldn't help but cry a little when he took off his hood and they played his theme. My first childhood hero was back and finally got to be the ultimate bad ass that he should've been in TLJ, but we were denied because Johnson made one of the shittiest movies of all time.
When Mando took off his helmet and finally showed his face to lil' baby Grogu, that hit me in the feels pretty hard too.
Then R2 showed up and made everything better.
Overall it was all so bittersweet, but that's where Grogu's story had to go. Not sure it's the end of his story, though. He's too much of a cash cow for Disney, so I feel they've gotta bring him back at some point. But it was a beautiful end to that story arc and the last 10 to 15 minutes of that finale were perfection for me.
Also loved the tease for "The Book of Boba Fett." That should be interesting.
So many cool story directions they can go in now. I think Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni have done an incredible job with Mando, especially this season, and it's more evidence why Favreau, not Kennedy, should be in charge of Lucasfilm (and should've been from the start).

Yeah, they seem to have always had it out for Carano, mostly likely because she appears to have conservative/Republican views. Disney, as always, is being completely hypocritical about this. They've had several other instances, especially recently, where other people affiliated with them have said dumb and/or racist things but every single one of the ones that got away with it share some commonalities; they're usually uber-woke, non-white non-male, or they make a shit ton of money for Disney (see: James Gunn). Carano is female but is white and non-woke, therefore she's expendable because wokeys stupid believe it's okay to be racist as long as the target is white because "something something white supremacy" amirite?
Having said that, Carano did this to herself in a way. She'd apparently been warned before about some of her stupid tweets (the anti-mask and anti-vax stuff) and literally the only thing she had to do to keep her job AND star in a new Disney+ series was STFU on social media and chill out with her conspiracy theory and victimhood posts (conservatives are just as good at playing victims as the far left). But, she apparently couldn't control herself and has suffered the consequences.
Her agent dropped her this week and her publicists dropped her last year. I wouldn't be surprised if they'd spent months trying to convince her to STFU and she wouldn't listen (because she views herself as a martyr of some sort) and this was simply the last straw and a fortuitous opportunity to cut ties with her.
To be fair, articles trying to characterize anything she's posted as "transphobic" or "anti-semitic" are straight up hyperbolic bullshit and Disney is absolutely hypocritical in who they punish (as all woke businesses are guilty of). That said, her posts over the past month or two have been unwise, to say the least, and though I'm a bit surprised Disney fired her, I also can't say I didn't kinda see it coming.

I don't disagree at all. And it's not like Carano is this great actor who we desperately need to see. Her bed, for sure.
And I like Pascal, even with his awful WW84 stint. But the obvious hypocrisy remains quite annoying.
