Gonna watch it later tonight. I'm annoyed that they don't release all the episodes at once. That's standard for streaming but Disney+ and Amazon are trying to break away from that (and usually getting review bombed for it). But, that's a first-world problem, so not really a big deal.

I was unimpressed. Great production, good acting, interesting concept, but:
a) each episode is fairly short--29 and 36 minutes--yet well over six minutes of that is the credits; that's too much for sitcom-length show
b) it's not particularly interesting, plot-wise; I mean, I know we're still in the set-up, but still
C) the "clever" commentary on 50's and 60's sitcoms is forced and The Truman Show did it better; so did Pleasantville and The Brady Bunch Movie, for that matter
d) I feel like I'm going to be very unhappy down the road, with respect to race issues; the show looks like it might broach that subject, but it might not at all, and either way I don't think I'm going to like it
All that said, I'll keep watching, because it's easy on the eyes and there might be a payoff.

Watched the first two eps tonight. It's interesting, I'll give it that. And kudos to Marvel for trying something this different and "out there" in terms of concept. I'm not sure how long the concept will stay fresh, though. The story really needs to start picking up in the next episode to keep this from becoming stale too fast. The episode concepts so far have been clever, but they seem more like distractions and filler because the actual story (i.e., what the hell is going on, why, and who's behind it) is moving at a snail's pace thus far.
I don't think it'd be as much of a problem if they'd dropped all the episodes at once. I know I'm beating a dead horse but for some series it's tough to feel how well-connected the episodes are, or how well they flow, if they're spaced out like this. Some series just work best when binged together. I think Wandavision would be better if it could be binged, especially given how short each episode is.
They keep flashing the S.W.O.R.D. insignia around (the person watching at the end of the first episode, it was also on the full-color toy helicopter she found in the bush, and the back of the beekeeper's suit). So, I'm guessing that she's really in a SWORD lab somewhere under observation, trying to figure out how to bring her out of some sort of coma or something?
I'll keep watching, for now, because I am at least a little intrigued. And Elizabeth Olsen is enough to keep me interested regardless.
It's also funny how Wanda's Russian accent just kind of disappeared after Age of Ultron (and the first 20 minutes of Civil War) and nobody's really ever acknowledged that. They could at least toss in a throwaway line/joke about it to address this very small elephant.

There was also the HYDRA watch in the commercial, the Strucker Watch. And Strucker was in Agents of Shield, so maybe there's a tie-in...seems like a Kree thing, at the end if it all.

Okay, so last week's episode was finally a lot more interesting. Haven't watched this week's (episode 5) yet but I've heard that it's pretty good.

Alright, watched episode 5. It was pretty good (relative to the rest of the show). They're finally moving the plot forward. Kind of funny scene at the very end (mainly because of something Kat Denning's character says...where she states the obvious but in a 4th wall breaking way).
It's also funny because Elizabeth Olsen had tried to hype up that final scene by saying that there's a "Luke Skywalker reveal" at the end, referencing his amazing return in the Mandalorian sequel that made people go absolutely nuts.
This DEFINITELY ain't that. Not even close. I understand her desire to hype the show up, but if she really believed that this reveal was on the same level as Luke's in Mando, then she's either high, stupid, or just as out of touch with reality as her character in Wandavision.
Granted, it was kind of cool and I like the specific incarnation of the character they brought back, but let's be real here: literally nobody in real life (other than maybe a handful of weirdos on Twitter) gives much of a shit about the character who came back at the end of this episode, and certainly not on the "you've restored my childhood hero" level as Luke's return.
