Remember just a year ago when Kamala Harris was such a garbage candidate whom nobody liked and was polling so low that she had to drop out of the Presidential race before the first primary even took place? And now, suddenly she's amazing and wonderful and "oMg, ShE's SoOo HiStOrIc!!!"
So, I'm sure some of you heard how Kamala Harris plagiarized a story told by Martin Luther King, Jr. in order to beef up the fictional autobiography she tells people to get some of that sweet, sweet woke street cred, and how the MSM largely ignored the story:
Now, the latest example of, "but we have to protect the new administration!!!" comes from the Washington Post, who had a profile of Harris posted for quite a while that mentioned her really shitty comments on the treatment of prisoners (among other things), where she laughed about them begging for food and water; a detail that mysteriously and quietly disappeared recently when the post ret-conned...er...I mean..."updated" the profile.
Reason noticed this and reported on it and now the Post has suddenly decided to restore the old version. They're soooo impartial! Democracy won't die in darkness today, I guess: reason.com/2021/01/22/the-washington-post-memory-holed-kamala-harris-bad-joke-about-inmates-begging-for-food-and-water/

When The Washington Post published a 2019 campaign trail feature about then-presidential hopeful Kamala Harris' close relationship with her sister, it opened with a memorable anecdote in which Harris bizarrely compared the rigors of the campaign trail to…life behind bars.
And then proceeded to laugh—at the idea of an inmate begging for a sip of water.
It was an extremely cringeworthy moment, even by the high standards set by Harris' failed presidential campaign. But now that Harris is vice president, that awful moment has seemingly vanished from the Post's website after the paper "updated" the piece earlier this month.
