So, apparently Coke has bought into Robin DiAngelo's intellectually and morally bankrupt neoracist bullshit and is encouraging their employees to "be less white."
I'm a bit stunned that no one yet has sued any of the organizations pushing this shit for "hostile work environment" and/or "disparate treatment" under Title VII. I hope someone does, and soon, because if it ever makes it to the Supreme Court, I'm confident it would put an end to this neoracist trash:

Here's Bari Weiss offiering up the resignation letter of a Smith College emplyee who was fed up with what amounted to neo-rascist hostile work environment: bariweiss.substack.com/p/whistleblower-at-smith-college-resignsSome of it: Nice writing. Apparently, the woman was offered a settlement if she would keep her mouth shut. She declined. Gutsy.

On the Coke thread, check out this reply:
I think...that's a serious reply. Talk about your over-educated douche-nozzles...

Yeah, WTF does that even mean? Seems like a bullshity attempt to sound intelligent or morally superior by saying "cishet."

Okay, I shouldn't make fun, but I can't help it. Here's a "counter" book to Anderson's that is still up at Amazon, though already out of print: smile.amazon.com/Let-Harry-Become-Sally-Anti-Transgender/dp/1948785056/ref=sr_1_2It looks to be utter crap. One of the reviews noted that its citations--it purports to be a science-based work--are from wikipedia, twitter, and Huffpo. The about the author section: Ohhhhhhh, she had a trans roommate...What is this, Spaceballs???

I've dated several East Asian and Indian girls. That obviously makes me an expert on Asian culture. I have several black friends, so obviously I should write a book about BLM, right?

Also, interesting thread from GG that is tangentially-related to the topic of that deplatformed book:

I can't see how anyone could argue with that logic. Really, you should apply for a grant.

Mr. Potato Head's sex/gender is now problematic and must be eliminated:

The "Potato Head" farce seems to aptly illustrate the issues described this insightful thread:

I really like this response in that thread:

A tweet I saw because Greenwald retweeted it:
Man, that's a really concise and spot-on bit of analysis.
And look at one of the replies to it. The person has no self-awareness, is totally clueless that their response is exactly what the original tweet is talking about:
Or how about this reply, from someone who very obviously is protesting too much:
Lol.

Just wanted to update the "Potato Head" record. It seems it might've all been much ado about nothing. According to Hasbro, they've only renamed the brand / overall toy line to be "Potato Head" and not the individual toys. Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head will still be here and, I'm assuming, the lil' baby tater they sometimes sell too.
I don't know if this was always the plan and it just got misreported and misrepresented in the press and social media, or if this is a response to the backlash, but it's good to know that they're not moving forward with what would've been an insane (and insanely terrible) idea:
