My picks are bolded. I'll probably get most of these wrong...
1) Pre-show match: Riho and Thunder Rosa vs. Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. and Rebel
2) Casino Tag Team Royal: Too many teams to list. Seems to be just a huge mess of a match. I have no idea who will win (not really interested in this match but it might still be entertaining).
3) Miro and Kip Sabian (with Penelope Ford) vs. Best Friends (Orange Cassidy and Chuck Taylor).
I actually kinda think that Miro and Kip will win this one but I also suspect something's gonna happen with Miro. Maybe he'll go crazy and destroy everyone including Sabian. But I kinda think/hope that they're about to really do something to set his character loose and it might be in this match. At least, that's kinda what I'm hoping.
5) Tag team street fight: Team Taz (Brian Cage and Ricky Starks) (with Taz) vs. Darby Allin and Sting
Most likely Allin and Sting but AEW has surprised me before. Either way, this has been kind if a lame rivalry, so I'm looking forward to them putting it to bed.
6) “Face of the Revolution” ladder match (winner receives a future TNT championship match): Cody Rhodes (with Arn Anderson) vs. Scorpio Sky vs. Penta El Zero Miedo vs. Lance Archer (with Jake Roberts) vs. Max Caster vs. TBA.
This pick is more of who I hope wins. I think Cody and Archer have good shots at actually winning. But I doubt Cody wants a title run right now with his baby on the way. Not sure that Archer is ready for it. And I think Sky would be a good champ and deserves the push.
As far as who the surprise "TBA" participant is, I have no idea. So...either Christian, Rob Van Damme, or that dude who used to be with IMPACT that everyone keeps talking about (that I've never heard of b/c I don't watch IMPACT).
7) “Big Money Match”: Adam Page vs. Matt Hardy
I say Page but also wouldn't be surprised if they swerve me on this one.
8) AEW world tag team championship match: The Young Bucks vs. Jericho and MJF
If Jericho and MJF don't win, I kinda think Sammy Guevara is gonna be involved somehow. Maybe he and MJF have been in cahoots this whole time? I read a "theory" about that online. Sounds plausible I guess.
9) AEW women’s world championship match: Hikaru Shida vs. Ryo Mizunami
Ryo has had some good matches lately but I'm not sure they're gonna put the belt on her right out of the gate b/c she doesn't have much name recognition over here yet.
10) AEW world championship match: Kenny Omega vs. Jon Moxley (Exploding Barbed Wire Deathmatch)
I think Kenny will win but it'll be a helluva match. Moxley's wife is having a baby in a few months, and he's been saying cryptic things in his promos about being "gone" or "dying" or "leaving" etc., so I kinda think Moxley may be setting up some time off of TV. Also, Omega's been a pretty good heel champ so far, so I think he'll keep the belt.
11) Surprise "Hall of Fame worthy" new AEW signing: I have no idea. Could be Christian, could be Rob Van Damme, could be Kurt Angle...could be someone nobody's thought of yet. Angle posted a video yesterday lacing up his boots and putting on his gear, but that could've just been to troll people. Hell, I wouldn't put it past McMahon to have told Angle to do that so they could bring him back on Raw this week as a way to poke at AEW.
Who knows? Looking forward to finding out who it is and if the person actually lives up to the hype.
