Some parents of male students at a school in Australia are seething after their sons were forced to stand up in assembly and apologize to their female classmates on behalf of their gender.
The incident happened at Brauer College, a senior school in Warrnambool, Victoria, on Wednesday. One parent, Danielle Shephard, who has a 12-year-old son at the school, told 7News her son was feeling confused after being told to apologize.

The idiocy of this astounds me. We often hear the worst thing for men to say when the discussion turns to sexual assault is Not All Men. Okay, if Jane is standing there telling me about her personal experience and my contribution is "Not All Men" vs. "I'm so sorry that happened to you" then yeah, there's a problem there. I'm an asshose.
On the other hand, when a school pushes the narrative that boys, some of which a young enough that they may never have even kissed a girl, need to apologize to the girls in the class for rapes that they've never committed, "Not All Men" seems to be an valid response. Who is the asshole here?
