I've been trying to follow the case. Pretty amazing how she could admit abuse in recordings. Not a huge payout, but my guess is that Depp doesn't care about that. He cares that the jury sided with him.
Also amazing that so many on Heard's side are pulling the "Johnny Depp set back the women's movement back 70 years". Seems pretty obvious that the one who did that was Heard, and is the women's movement supposed to mean women can gloat about hitting guys and then claim abuse?

Just saw this freakshow losing her shit over Heard:
She's a professor at Stanford. Shocking.

Nobody said you can't work at Stanford and be an unhinged lunatic.
The reactions to this case have been fascinating to me. I followed the live trial coverage nearly every day during the last 3 weeks of the trial (had it playing in the background while I *tried* to work).
I don't think any reasonable, intelligent, and fair-minded person could look at the evidence in this case and come to the conclusions that: 1) Heard wasn't the actual abuser in this case; 2) Heart isn't mentally ill to a toxic, malicious, borderline sociopathic degree; 3) Heard didn't manipulate evidence (at least partially) and lie her ass off during this entire thing just to be vindictive toward Depp; 4) the ACLU isn't a horrible, biased, dumpster fire of a broken organization.
However, I know at least one person who I generally think is very intelligent who is 110% "Team Heard" even after the overwhelming evidence proving her guilt and abusiveness. I honestly don't get it. I'm flabbergasted by this person's view. It's very similar - if not identical to - conspiracy theory thinking. It's like the people who still support Heard have actively chosen to turn off their brains and lie to themselves. They desperately want to deny reality because it supports their ideological worldviews. Equal parts tragic and infuriating, in my opinion.
I'm also curious to see if Depp sues Heard again, or at least has his lawyers send her a cease-and-desist letter, regarding her NBC interview. She straight up lies and defames him again in that interview, proving that she's not only seemingly sociopathic and stupid, but that she doesn't learn from her mistakes.
What a completely sick, toxic, foolish, garbage person.

I've been hearing she's going to write a book.I keep thinking Depp's lawyers are going to ask the judge to stop her from insisting he was the abusive one. This was a case that showed a lot about confirmation bias. Some people just can't believe a guy was abused, or won't let go of how they decided to believe her in the first place.
