I see the protests are going violent. I understand the reason for protesting, but are the protesters showing disdain for Trump or the Democratic process?

Heh. Angie is Buff and has two stars, now. I noticed. We really should commemorate that somehow. Mod note: I need shmooing powers, stat. On the anti-Trump protests -- Trump's response: So let's see if I'm following this correctly. (1) Trump states in debate that he won't agree to accept the election results (unless, of course, he wins) because the election might be "rigged." In subsequent days, he doubles down on that statement. (2) A fuck-ton of people all over the political spectrum are (rightly) horrified by Trump's statement, claiming (rightly) that it flies in the face of the democratic process. (3) Trump wins the election. (4) Those who (rightly) claimed that Trump's refusal to accept the election results would fly in the face of the democratic process immediately begin protesting, refusing to accept the election results. (5) Trump whines that the protests are "unfair," flying in the face of the "open and successful" democratic process.
