Well, it's on. Reactions are polar, judging from that article and this one (bolding mine):

So, it would appear this issue is divided, but not along party lines.
Here in Australia...
The government:
...which is not to say exactly that they support the bombing.
The Opposition leader:
The Greens, traditional allies with Labor:
ABC foreign correspondent (ABC is the government-supported Australian Broadcasting Corporation, akin to America's PBS):
And, of course, a slew of Facebook posters citing tweets from God-knows-who.
So here I am, ISO thoughtful political discussion.
Lawmakers generally supported Trump's decision to strike back against Assad Thursday night, but cautioned the President against unilaterally starting a war without first consulting Congress.
A pair of defense hawks -- Sens. John McCain and Lindsey Graham -- who have frequently been critical of Trump, roundly praised his decision Thursday night.

But Sen. Rand Paul called on Trump to consult on Congress.

The government:
My understanding is that the Prime Minister's receiving briefings, obviously, in relation to this matter and no doubt the Defence Minister as well.
We have been partners, allies with the United States, with the United Kingdom, others for a long period of time.
We've supported operations, we've provided support both on the front line and within headquarters, behind the scenes intelligence gathering, all the rest of it for a long period of time.
What all of us would want is to make sure that people, particularly in Syria who have gone through civil conflict, for that civil conflict to come to an end, and for people to be able to return to their homeland to rebuild and to return to the lives that they once had.

The Opposition leader:
Labor supports the US military strike against the Shayrat Airfield and military depots as appropriate and proportionate, targeting the Assad Regime's capability to conduct gas attacks against its civilian population.
We support the US sending a strong signal that these gas attacks should have never occurred - and they should never occur again.

The Greens, traditional allies with Labor:
The Australian Greens have condemned the missile strike in Syria, calling it a dangerous escalation of the conflict.
The Acting Greens Leader Scott Ludlam says "the horror of the chemical weapons attack in Syria this week requires a credible, independent investigation, not a random barrage of missiles ordered by a clueless President".
And he says the government needs to acknowledge that the alliance is now "a real danger" to Australia.

(This is) massively significant and ups the ante hugely because we now have the United States effectively declaring war against Syria.
...
The Syrian Government has surface-to-air missiles, so do the Russians. We remain to see how they react and if this escalates or not
