This thread will grow. I need somewhere to unload my annoyance. Feel free to add your own unfavorites.
cuck (I was sick of this one the first time I heard it.)
snowflake (When it gets to the point where someone reporting an unprovoked assault by a congressional candidate is a "snowflake," it is time to stick the word in the microwave and nuke it out of existence.)
privilege (Despise me if you must. It's been overused, sometimes inappropriately, and for my money has lost its punch. Find a new way to express this idea.)
1% / 99% (see above comment.)

There, there, regarding evidence of wrongdoing.
As in, "Is there a there, there?"
Or, "there's no there, there."
STOP IT

"despise me"
"covfefe" (I'm looking at you, Vince)
"perfect storm"--I hate this term so much, mostly because the people who use it invariably do so in situations where it doesn't really work
"Trump"
"Clinton"

Woke.
Not as in "She woke up at 6 a.m., but as in "she's so woke!"

HAHAHAHA! I just texted a pic of that to my 19 yo psychology/sociology double major daughter. She was just talking to me about queer theory and gender theory yesterday as she read a chapter on that. And unfortunately, since she came home for summer, I have heard her say "AF". I'm also having a hard time wrapping my head around this whole 'gender/sexuality is a social construct' stuff. Isn't that what people used to say---and got burned for saying? What about Lady Gaga's song? (Born this Way) Maybe I will start a thread about it. Anyway, that comic was funny, thanks.

1. there are no words
Yes, there are. There are always words; if you haven't found them, that's okay. But your limits do not define the universe.
2. real, in several variants: - Keep it real: could a phrase have less meaning than this? What effort is involved in doing this? What constitutes "not keeping it real"? - real-time: a legitimate term being watered down by casual misuse. - this is so surreal: unless you're slicing an eyeball, and ants are crawling out of your melting pocketwatch, it's exhilarating, but not surreal. - real men/women: just a way of rationalizing prejudice.
3. I'm just sayin'
Possibly the most bullshit of them all, even more than it is what it is. No, you're not *just* sayin'; you're making an assertion, and you want to avoid being called on it. Coward. Say it, and stand behind it.

What constitutes "not keeping it real"? - "real-time": feh. - "this is so surreal": unless you're slicing an eyeball, and ants are crawling out of your melting pocketwatch, it's exhilarating, but not surreal. - "real men/women": just a way of rationalizing prejudice. yeah, fer real, dude! (of the above, I find "keep it real" the most irksome)
