This surprised me this morning.
www.cnn.com/2016/11/17/politics/trump-transition-meetings-abe/ I don't think anyone was more brutal to Trump than Romney from the GOP side, so this is, I guess, Trumps way of trying to reach out.
I still think that if Romney would have launched a bid right when it was clear Trump was the GOP nominee, he could have won.

How is "SOC" indicative of Secretary of State?
No offense.

No offense, but where is SOC? I did not see it in article or post............... Sorry, just read the title. I am confident it is a scrivener's error.

Lol, I'm pretty sure Vince meant "SOS" or "SoS."

I'm not sure Romney will be offered the job, nor that he'd take it if he were (he's one of the few prominent Republican voices who spoke out strongly and consistently against Trump from the very beginning of this election). But if he is offered it, I hope he'll take it. He's smart, he'd dignified, he's sane, he's qualified -- he might even help keep a lid on Trump and some of the more extreme members of Trump's administration. We're not going to get anyone better, IMO. Also, it would give me a wee bit on the hope side that Trump's reign might turn out better than I fear if he'd give this offer to someone who isn't alt-right and who consistently spoke against him.

I think Jessica Alba should be Secretary of State.

I hate to tell you, Rob, but if Trump appoints a celebrity, it's far more likely to be Scott Baio. Or maybe Kanye West.

I can't even spell abbreviations I guess You can spell just fine! I'm sure you meant Secretary of Commerce. And yes, I'd love Romney in the administration. He's a good guy and definitely easy on the eyes. Did I say that last part out loud?

I think Jessica Alba should be Secretary of State. Jessica Alba/Halle Berry. Now that's a presidential ticket I could "get behind" if you know what I mean. *nudge, nudge, wink, wink* Yeah, that's sexist, but I'm a dirty old white man, so what did you expect?

Personally I'd like to see Cheech Marin as agriculture secretary.
