There were some good ones for sure, from Danny DeVito to McBride and Hemsworth to Dinklage and Freeman.
But there were a few that I thought were not so good. In fact, there were two that I thought were way over the line.
Dodge using MLK to sell trucks:
Dodge is catching a ton of heat now for the above spot (and fairly so, imo). But catching less heat--so far--is the following one from Hyundai, which I think is actually even worse:
Aside from the inappropriateness of pulling people out of line at a security checkpoint (I'm hoping that was staged), the spot seems to be sending the tasteless message of "buy a Hyundai to save kids from cancer." Yuck.

Slim pickings this year. I wasn't impressed with the ads.
