Wow, what a freak show. Of course, that's been true for a long, long time. It really is--imo--yet another huge strike against Trump that he actually hired her, regardless of what is or isn't on the tapes.*
* For the record, I think these tapes are waaaay over the line. I'd like to see Omarosa prosecuted, if possible. But if what's on these tapes gets out there, it gets out there. Them's the breaks.

I think Omarosa is an absolute disgrace. She sucked up to and worked for a man who is an obvious narcissist and racist, and had no complaints until she was fired and wrote a book to cash in. Taping people in the White House is also snake-in-the-grass behavior, and I hope no one buys that damn book.
But I wonder if it takes a snake like her to break through the wall of inaction by the people who should be protecting the world from Trump's incompetence and malevolence. How ironic would that be, Trump taken down by a black woman, and her book?!

1) Omarosa is indeed a disgrace -- just despicable. (Trump still should not have called her, or anyone, a dog, though.)
2) Trump's hiring her is a disgrace -- an incredibly and obviously terrible decision.
3) It's insane that she was able to tape things in the WH, and jesus, in the Situation Room?! That's so freaking disturbing. That's on her and the administration.
4) Obviously something needs to be done STAT about security in this administration, but as for the contents of those tapes, taking aside my deep concern about our national security, I truly have no sympathy if Trump or people in his administration get black eyes as a result--indeed, assuming no national security issues, I'll downright enjoy it. Can you imagine for a second this occurring under another administration? Of course not. It's the chaos and ineptness of this one that allowed it.
5) I will also weep no tears for Omarosa if she is prosecuted. (I am confident the NDA Trump made her sign is not gonna be enforceable. But I think it's possible taping things in the situation room, etc. might be something she can be prosecuted for, though I don't know. I guess we'll see.)
6) I have bought a pile of political books this year from people on both sides of the aisle, but I will not buy Omarosa's.

Lordy. There's video. apnews.com/e2b8967b8b0c47638cf16b2d2285c519I hope none of it compromises national security. But you know what? That aside, I hope whatever she's got is really, really embarrassing for Trump, Kelly et al. That's not just me being vindictive. That's not just me hoping that Trump will be impeached, or at least not re-elected. It's that I think total humiliation is perhaps the ONLY thing that could make Trump and his gang of misfit toys (stole that one from Rick Wilson) pay some kind of attention to security protocol in future -- and perhaps towards making better hires than whacked-out reality TV stars. One whacked out reality TV star in the White House is plenty.
