The fact that they cried is more evidence that wokeism is basically a mental illness. Fire them and see how much they cry then.
Meanwhile, also in Canada...

Okay, the funniest thing about that thred, Optimus, is every fucking Canadian who sees it feels compelled to correct the tweet: it's New Brunswick, not Nova Scotia. Jesus H. Christ on a popsicle stick, can no one be bothered to read a thread at all before chiming in?

But the idea that a general publisher should be concerned about ideology and hurt feelings, as opposed to the bottom line, is not conducive to the general principle of free speech in the least, imo. It sounds like this time, the book is going forward, unlike previous cases. Now, I don't think pulling the book would've been the right decision, at all. But I can't help seeing a kind of (dark) humor in this story. Guy publishes a book called "12 Rules for Life: An Antidote to Chaos," then promptly gets addicted to tranquilizers and nearly dies, then has this bizarre disappearance where he ends up going to Russia for drug treatment, and then finally, he comes back and goes, "Hey, I have 12 more rules." Don't get me wrong, I'm glad he's doing better. But maybe I'll look elsewhere for self-help advice. ETA: And then you had the whole "clean your room" thing, which was pretty hilarious.

This ain't a good look for a sitting Senator, especially not a "liberal" one: In case Warren deletes the tweet, this is what she said, in response to a tweet from @amazonnews: We certainly can't have anyone heckling Senators on a privately owned platform (something the Left has been constantly pointing out for some time now, that twitter is a private platform). Here's a hardcore moron (who somehow is check-marked) chiming in: I note her utter stupidity because it reflects what I think is partly to blame for Warren getting away with what should be a sanction-able statement: treating politicians like celebrities (and yeah, the Right is absolutely no better).

Yeah, the extent to which the wokies - even those who are elected officials - forget that Twitter isn't real life and get totally wrapped up in it, behaving on Twitter in a way indistinguishable from a middle school child, is really cringey.

Apparently, Amazon is going to war...
Did someone clear this with Bezos, I wonder?
ETA: Oh, and the people drawing conclusions about the person in charge of the Amazon account are a laugh riot. They're certain it's some sort of extreme right winger, when it fact it appears to be Jay Carney...
