I don't know how funny that tweet is (sorry, but I don't find it totally un-funny) or how mean it is (and I do find it mean) in everyone's mind, but that's how most jokes work, that's how satire works. Not everyone will smile, let alone laugh.
People shit all over the tweet in responses to it; that should be good enough.
