Yeah, my original point is that many in the news media (and Twitter blue checks) keep calling it a raid when it wasn't. To me, they're doing it for sensationalist reasons, not accuracy reasons.
Everything with Trump is taken to 11 when it's reported. Gotta get those clicks.

This is the definition of "raid" that I was thinking of and it seems to fit with what a raid is typically construed as (i.e., surprise, forced entry, guns drawn, etc). en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Police_raidWhat the cops did at Breonna Taylor's home was a "raid." What they did at Trump's was just a "search."

I'm a bit annoyed at how the media (on both sides) keep calling this an "FBI raid."
They executed a lawful search warrant. They contacted the Secret Service at Mar-a-Lago several hours ahead of time to let them know they were coming. The SS let them in. The FBI intentionally did this on a day that Trump wouldn't be there.
The press is making it seem like SWAT busted the door down and agents ran in there in body armor with guns drawn.
They likely just drove up, knocked on the door, and the SS let them in like they'd already discussed on the phone earlier that day.

Though to continue being fair, it (why take the fifth if you have nothing to hide) is a pretty commonly held belief, right up until people realize they should take the 5th. Reminds me of this video I watched several years ago. Very thought-provoking stuff and a lot of points I'd never considered before.

If you wanna really get grossed out, there's a paper that was floating around academic twitter today that was rightfully derided as being a disgusting woke pedo promotion but a bunch of idiots with PhD (in the humanities, of course) that knee-jerk leapt to its defense because it was bathed in woke language, so they automatically assumed that it was amazing and should be defended to the death (seems none of them bothered to actually read what they were stupidly defending).
Then they all got called pedos, some of them finally decided to read info on the paper, and well....
There are a lot of weirdos and extremists who throw the accusation "groomer" around against leftists probably way too much but...I mean...it's starting to look like they have a real point.

His account obviously got hacked. It's happened to others before, too, where an account with a large following gets hacked and the hacker posts ads selling some product. They're basically trying to make as much money in as short a time as possible by ripping off the person's dumbest followers.
Given that these scams only work on morons and it's Steve Schmidt's followers, the hacker will likely make enough to retire in about an hour.

Haha, hilarious. She's pretty much kryptonite to the Dems. Certainly not an attractive candidate.
Did you see the clip where she's on Rupaul's show and tells a bunch of drag queens that they're the "real patriots?"
WTF is she even talking about?

Remember the days when mental illness was something people sought treatment for and tried to keep relatively private?
Nowadays, it's on full display and we're all expected to not only humor it, but give full-throated support to the delusions of these lunatics.

Haha, he's not doing much to dissuade me from believing that he's basically just a mouthpiece for his mostly woke advisors.
But I'm gonna give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he really meant to say, "That's every President's job" or something along those lines.

Jesus, what a psychopath. She's obviously got some issues.
Granted, I've always suspected that running for political office requires that a person to be at least a little touched in the head, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

Ha, guess we'll remember that next time a Democrat loses an election and tries to blame it on "a campaign funded by rich, out-of-district donors."
Because, of course, they never bitch about it when they win due to those circumstances (e.g., just look at how much money AOC raises. Overwhelming majority of it comes from out of state).

Yeeeeahhhh...not sure that's the kind of platform that'll have a chance of winning in Florida. It might play alright to a lot of people in Orlando, possibly Tampa and parts of Miami, but most of Flora-bama (panhandle) will reject it outright.
I'm not saying she should model herself after Joe Manchin but, if she wants to do well, I think she's gonna need an approach that has a much better grip on the social realities of Florida than what she's currently doing.

Haha, nice.
I wonder what the "something new" is gonna be. From the picture, I'm guessing maybe some far-left shift to attack white male corporate dudes in suits? Or is she saying that everyone else is a faceless man?
I don't really grok the weak symbolism she's trying to go for here.
