The Daily Beast editor said it was limited to this one instance, but the DC piece noted at least one more. I suspect the number will continue to increase.
So, questions:
WHY? Why do reporters/journalists think they can get away with such stupidity in this digital age?
Is it a function of pressure to produce? Or maybe is it an issue of numbers, alone (there are a shit-ton of people writing articles now, as compared to decades ago)? Both? Something else?
