If she were as smart as she thinks, then she'd know that "left brain / right brain" is a bullshit myth.

of course, our Lord and benevolent Masters only want what's best for us, and it's only our feeble minds that keeps us from seeing that.
Damn, am I sounding like Don here?

She was simply captured in a rare moment of true honesty. This is the mentality it takes to decide to be a professional politician, and to climb up the political ladder.
All careers generally attract specific types of people.
People who love art don't become politicians; they become artists. People who love crafting words don't become politicians, they become writers. People who love medicine don't become politicians; they become doctors or other medical professionals. People who love creating new things don't become politicians; they become inventors or scientists or entrepreneurs.
People who think they're smarter than everyone else and should tell everyone else how to live don't become artists or writers or doctors or inventors; they become politicians, scammers, or their corporate equivalent, crony crapitolists. The ones that don't get locked up as psychopaths, that is.

The ones that don't get locked up as psychopaths, that is. Some of them become university professors. ... or admins. Given the state of higher education today, those mostly fall under the crony crapitolist label, although some would fit better under scammers.
