I'm so glad robeaie started a forum especially for lawyers and strippers. Since I'm a lawyer, I consider this my special domain, one where I shall offer exotic dancing/legal hacks for a nominal fee of $650 an hour. I may also write poetry. You're welcome.
a few tips for newbies:
(1) if you're going to strip down to one article of clothing, it shouldn't be socks. I don't care if your feet are cold. It's simply not the way it's done.
(2) always wipe down your pole with disinfectant before commencing your dance.
(3) no, no, no. Not that kind of pole.
(4) ok, yeah, maybe that kind of pole, depending.
(5) shave your back hair before engaging in an erotic dance, especially if you are a woman.
(6) be sure to secure your retainer fee before providing legal advice or engaging in an exotic dance.

Yes. And it's bad form to writhe and gyrate while opposing counsel makes an argument. You'll get your turn.

What's the official court policy on pasties?

pasties are required until your closing argument, at which point you can go full frontal.

Excellent question, Angie. We lawyer types execute what we in the legal biz like to call " the flagpole" to flag our objection.

Is it true that a dancer who is dancing for herself has a fool for an audience?

It depends on how well she tips herself.

Does that mean we have to call her professor new girl?

Wait. What? Lawyers and strippers only? Do I have to declare which one I identify more with?
So...which is worse?

No, actually, I get to decide which you are.
You're a stripper, of course. Stripped of clothes, body, ears, nose, hair, and even the whites of your eyes. Also decency, humanity, morality, intelligence...
Just a nasty set of teeth and two beady little eyeballs in a vicious yellow orb.
