What's the phenomenon? There's never been a tribble-headed reality star elected head of state before?
Asking new questions won't matter a lot if they're answered by the same imperialists that got us where we are today.

Kissinger calls Trump a 'phenomenon that foreign countries haven't seen' I watched the interview on Face the nation. This article was out before it ended. So. Lots of thought put into the article, apparently.

Well, to be fair, predictions for how Presidential terms will go, how a given President will act, aren't always correct. Sometimes, they're astoundingly incorrect, going all the way back to Jefferson.
And Kissinger's assessment of the current admin is spot on, imo. A big void was opened in the international arena and Russia has tried to fill it (and been successful, to some extent).
I know the narrative from the elites is that the Obama administration "restored" the status of the US on the international scene. And maybe that's true on the cocktail party circuit. But I think the admin surrendered a lot of authority, a lot presence, for the sake of being "nice guys." And I think that was foolish.

To be fair, Don, it is unpresidented. That is just never going to get old.
