So let me further this discussion this way.
If persona A murders person B, that person is actually guilty of murder, even if nobody ever realizes what happened, but legally they are innocent because they never get proven guilty in a court of law, right?
So in this case, there were a lot of shenanigans from the DA. Allowing multiple women to testify that they were victims when that hadn't been proven is a bone of contention for many. Of course, the fact that the 'smoking gun' was something Cosby had said only after the DA at the time announced publicly that there would be no criminal trial, allowing Cosby to testify without fear of incrimination is where it got thrown.
However, would this be a case where Cosby is actually guilty but legally innocent?
I guess it's an opinion thing, but I'm wondering where everyone else is on this.

This is all about the DA and the court system and the law. It has nothing to do with Cosby. I don't believe the courts give a care who lies about anything outside their courtroom.
In my view this is just a pushback against the mob justice we've been witnessing for the last 5 -6 years (or so).

I think it beyond obvious that Cosby is a serial sexual predator, that he drugged and raped/sexually assaulted many, many women. And I think anyone defending him at this point in time (Phylicia Rashad) either has a screw loose or is utterly blinded by stardom (you know there's a big overlap with Cosby and OJ defenders).
That said...if the DA really effed up to this extent, it is what it is. The system is supposed to be weighted in favor of the accused and decisions like this area consequence of that.
But it's a moment to be angry at the DA, not to be happy for a piece of shit predator.

No, they are "not guilty." People who "win" in court are not ruled "innocent." "Not guilty" versus "innocent" is an important distinction, which is why the legal system is not set up to render a judgment of "innocent." Yes, he's actually guilty (by his own admission). His conviction was overturned, so I guess he's technically/legally "not guilty" now, but I can't be sure because I'm not a lawyer. If the previous DA (or whomever) did fuck this case up, then that's infuriating. Either way, this outcome is some straight up bullshit. That sick fuck should've been left to die in jail.

I think Cosby did exactly what he was accused of. I think Cosby knows he did exactly what he was accused of. I think Cosby believes he did nothing wrong.
