I try really hard sometimes to wrap my head around the way wokies on the far-left conceptualize race...but I always get a headache and give up.
It's like...on one hand, many of them say race is "a SoCiAL cOnStRuCt" and "iSn'T rEaL" one minute, and the next minute are claiming people either are or are not certain races based on the color of their skin. And, who they consider to be a POC seems to change based on whether or not it fits the narrative they're trying to shovel at that time. For example, Asian Americans apparently either don't exist at all or are white when it comes to discussions of race and wealth or education. But if there's an assault, then by god they're suddenly POCs again in the wokies' eyes and, oh yeah, white people are evil.
Same seems to be going on here. Jews aren't an oppressed minority group in Whoopi's eyes because in that moment, it didn't fit whatever woke narrative she was trying to spew (and, honestly, I still don't understand what point she was trying to make).
Actually, the more I think about it, I guess that does fit the far-left claim that race is a social construct with no basis in biology, because they construct the shit out of it in a million different ways whenever it serves their purposes.

Yeah, her appearance on Colbert pretty much buried her. Her views seem to be rooted in the ridiculous pseudo-religious dogma of "anti-racism" (which is, ironically, incredibly racist) from brain dead dipshits like Ibram X. Kendi and Robin D'Angelo. Colbert reinforced Goldberg's stupidity by regurgitating the ol' "race is completely socially constructed and meaningless" trope, continuing his public spiral into being a brainwashed ideologue who self-flagellates and genuflects about his "white guilt/shame."
As several online have already pointed out, what Goldberg did was far more offensive and stupid than the dumb political meme that Gina Carano posted on Instagram - especially given that Goldberg did it TWICE IN TWO DAYS on national television - yet all Goldberg got was basically a slap on the wrist. Showing once again that Disney, much like many large corporations these days, only care about publicly supporting the side of woke stupidity at the expense of other viewpoints, all while profiting off of and turning a blind eye to China's human right's violations.

Oh. My. God.
I thought Colbert was supposed to be intelligent to some degree. It's like they both think 1930s Europe was the total opposite of what it actually was. They actually think the Nazis had to work really hard to figure out who to slap yellow stars on, apparently utterly clueless that Jews all tended to live and work together, apart from the handful that were wealthy enough to be considered real Germans (up until Hitler, at any rate), that up until the late 19th century in many cases, Jews were required to live in their own area of a city (the ghetto, as it were).

After what Whoopi has said, I still think suspending her from The View is pretty stupid. What she said may be considered ignorant, but I don't think it comes close to malicious or anti-Semitic.

I'm sure I'm biased on this, but that's another reason I hate that people can get doctorates in education and refer to themselves as "doctor." It's a joke of a degree. Doctorates of Education (Ed.D.) are notorious for being about as easy to get as a shitty online degree. They're not held in high esteem in academia. The dissertations those students have to write are often on the level one might expect from a high school student. I read one once from a person getting his Ed.D. that used really incompetent stats to make the claim that academic achievement is meaningfully related to how often a student poops each day. Jill Biden's is on about the same level. It's amateurish tripe that reads like an undergraduate book report. Don't take my word for it, though. It's common practice to call someone "doctor" only in their relevant job setting or other professional context. This applies to MDs as much as it does PhDs. As the President's wife, she is not acting in a professional capacity related to her shitty joke of an Ed.D., so she should not at all be referred to as "doctor" in that capacity.
