The Terminator's kicking himself in the ass for not going up against Trump in the primaries.

I have no use for either of them, but in truth I liked the Apprentice under Trump. I was bored with it with Ahnald and didn't even finish watching it.

It is certainly a close call. I voted Trump, mainly because his ego is much more in my face at the moment. But I'm not sure there's much to choose between them. I second the call for our country to stop being such a cartoon.
If you'll excuse me, I'm going to go look at some adorable Obama/Bush photos for a while.

The Terminator's kicking himself in the ass for not going up against Trump in the primaries. Derail / Well, I mean, he couldn't -- that "not an American-born citizen" thing. Unfortunately, I'm not sure anyone in the Republican side could have gone up against Trump and won. Jeb, Kasich, and Rubio were all better candidates, but did not, apparently, fit the present mood of Trump's 38%. And the Republicans need that block to vote to win. The only way the Republicans are going to pick a sane, dignified candidate next time out will be if Trump and Trumpism blow up spectacularly. What needed to happen this time out, IMO, was for the Democrats to pick someone that more independents and moderate Republicans in swing states might be able to stomach, and/or someone the Democratic base could be as enthusiastic about as they were about Obama. Alas, not Clinton. /End derail

Wasn't Arnold a rather mediocre governor of California at one time? That's a plus, I suppose, compared to the disaster that is the Trump White House.
Arnold: "At least I ran a boring, unambitious, and ultimately pointless administration. You, you're just sad!"
Trump: "At least my administration accomplished something, even if it was the annihilation of all life on Earth, condemning the survivors to live in nuclear shelters for hundreds of years until they adapted to being eye-less Morlocks who explored their bearings in the dark tunnels with their long tounges. What have you done, Arnold?"

Alas, not Clinton. To continue the derail, what has bothered me most after the Trump win is the Democrat refusal to engage in honest and evidence-based campaign autopsies. Clinton was absolutely the wrong candidate for the mood of the country, and had so much baggage.

can we get Bill Nye as president? Bill Nye's sharp on the natural sciences, but I'd prefer someone with at least a smattering of economic knowledge.

Yeah, my inclusion of Bill Nye wasn't just a random choice.
