I never understood how this band--Shooting Star--wasn't much, much bigger. They're all but forgotten, now.

I have a compilation LP with Shooting star on it. Haven't ever seen them anywhere since... and I bought that in about 1981!

Okay, this one isn't necessarily "lost," but it isn't quite as well-known these days except to people who've seen Reservoir Dogs.
Interesting thing about the song (that I'm sure some of you already know) is that it was written to make fun of Bob Dylan; both the lyrics and the way it is sung are jabs at Dylan.
