Well, Rob, you must admit that it is not medically healthy to be composed of solid plastic and have no internal organs.
The mannequins in this one store window near me lack heads, which is particularly unhealthy.

They're so white.... Vitamin D deficient, for sure.
But it's true that mannequins are unrealistically thin. Why is that?
Maybe mannequins are meant to be more like human-shaped hangers. In which case they could just use hangers. No one aspires to be a hanger.
