Dear Optimus ,
I know I've never written to you before, but I had something important to get off my chest, and naturally, Courier font was the only way to adequately express it.
Why do you keep taking all my karma points away? I'd have more than 30 now, except that you keep smiting me.
What'd I ever do to you? I'm not a bad sort, as mods go. I haven't banned anyone, not even Angie. I obey all the traffic rules and I wasn't that really slow cyclist in front of you, honest I wasn't. I don't drink milk right out of the carton and I never leave the cap off the toothpaste and let it get all crusty. I'm a little cranky before my first cup of coffee, but other than that, I'm not so terribly awful.
So why you gotta do me like that?

Perhaps if people gave me more karma, then I would be a more loving, benevolent Opty. My heart was forged in a crucible of sunshine, yet it still needs to be watered with love if it's to grow.

Fie upon you, for my profile proves that you have smited me within the last three hours. Karma history is verifiable by the very simplest among us. Why, even Angie or Robeaie can easily determine who has smited and exalted them.
Your own karma history will demonstrate the many generous karma-filled gifts I have lavished upon your apparently ungrateful head.
I had thought that I could not hurt any more than I was already hurting, but your hurtful mendacity and cavalier cruelty are the hurtfulest blow of all.

I swear to God/Allah/His Noodleyness, I have not smited you in months, unless I somehow accidentally hit it on this touch screen.
p.s. Wow, I just checked and it says that I took karma from you a few hours ago. I swear that was an accident. I'm on a touch screen computer and I usually scroll with my left thumb, and that's the side of the screen the exalt/karma links are on, so I must have accidentally hit it.
I gave you karma to make up for it.

pfft. Too obvious for sophisticated types like Opty and me.
Btw, I have accidentally given karma a couple of times via the touch screen on my tablet. FYI, y'all, I do not take away karma points as a punishment or because I'm pissed off (I use my words and my mod powrz). I might do it to be silly, except that since I'm a mod, I think it could look punitive, so I don't do it at all. If it happens, it's a touchscreen accident. (And I'll replace them if you let me know.)
