Yeah, the Clinton machine knows no loyalty. I'd watch out Huma.

That's an interesting story, if true, although The Gateway Pundit does have a history of fake news.

So, more on Wasserman-Schultz and cybersecurity: www.politico.com/story/2017/07/25/debbie-wasserman-schultz-aide-arrest-240960He's been under investigation for a while now, and a number of congresscrtitters whom he or his family had worked for had been trying to distance themselves. But Wasserman-Schultz hung on to the bitter end. That seriously begs the question: why? Anyway, there are more details here: dailycaller.com/2017/07/25/wasserman-schultzs-it-aide-arrested-trying-to-flee-the-country/Like this: There's also a slightly bizarre angle in this story involving one of the houses Imran was renting out, when new tenants found a bunch of partially destroyed hard drives. The DC piece mentions it, but I heard more about on the radio. Apparently, the new tenants were military, they saw something was off, and reported it, even as Imram tried to get back the hard drives. Regardless, the guy and his extended family appear to be con artists at the vary least and have probably bilked a number of banks quite effectively, along with a number of congresscritters. They could be more than con artists, of course. As an aside, I'd note that FoxNews is pushing this story pretty hard (shocking, right?), while CNN isn't even mentioning it.

As an aside, I'd note Faux Noise ignores a LOT of stories that CNN, MSNBC, CBS, ABC, NBC and other mainstream news outlets are all over. Michael Flynn resigns:Health care vote in the House and Nancy Pelosi's press conference:Police dashcam video of Philando Castile shooting:Trump reveals classified information to the Russians:How right-wing "news" outlets like Fux News ( and The Daily Caller founded by right-wing wank rag Tucker Carlson) cover events which are unflattering, embarrassing, or scandalous to Trump, Republicans or conservatives is to stick their dirty little fingers in their waxy ears, hop around on one foot and sing "La-La-La!!!" until it goes away and they go back to the shit they REALLY get off on. Pounding on Hillary, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Barack Obama and Hollywood. Not necessarily in that order. In journalism, what they are engaging in is called "burying the lede (or lead)." In plain talk, they're spreading right-wing propaganda. Which some folks are all too happy to jump on like a hungry pit bull on a meatball.

I think that's an obvious truth about FoxNews on air. They ignore or push stories, based on the who of the stories. Which is what I saw on this story, actually, when I flipped through the news channels this morning, hence my "shocking" comment.
But I think it's fair to note that CNN seems to be going down this same road, albeit not ver smoothly. Having a bunch people who were in charge of the IT for a crowd of congresscritters turn out to be con artists, most of whom have now fled the country, strikes me as worthy of a mention on CNN's website. Do you disagree?

I suppose. I'm sure it's a story of particular fascination to those emotionally invested in the humilation and ruination of Debbie Wasserman Schultz. Which I am not.

This is extremely disturbing. But let's continue to hound the Trump administration for ties to Russia.

One of these two people is currently president, while the other never will be
(a) Donald J. Trump
(b) Debbie Wasserman Schultz
So yes. Call me crazy, but I give a much, much, much bigger damn about the U.S.S. Trump steering our country full steam towards a massive iceberg than I do about Debbie Wasserman Schultz's use of Dropbox.
ETA:
For the record, by the way, I loathe Debbie Wasserman Shultz and always have. I have no problem kicking her under the bus. But I think we have way bigger, more immediate things to worry about at the moment than her shenanigans, so all I have for this is a SMDH.
So. SMDH.

I have no idea who covered this story and when. And it's not that I don't think it's not worth reporting.
But frankly, the situation in the White House is a raging out-of-control dumpster fire that has kindled the surrounding buildings and may well take down the city. I can't even keep track of the damn news these days, it's happening so fast and is so utterly whacked I can hardly believe it's happening.
Meanwhile, at the other end of town, Debbie Wasserman Shultz neglected to sort her recycling last year. I mean, yeah, not good, but my eyes are on the dumpster fire threatening my house.
So not really all that surprising, IMO, that this story may not have been the number one coverage priority.

Well, with all the concern over hacking at the DNC and elsewhere, it seems to me that DWS's IT peeps being a crowd of con artists is a real problem that deserves some real attention.
True, there is much Trump-related stuff that is more significant, more newsworthy right now. But this story isn't just a nothing burger. These characters appeared to have bilked congresscritters out of $4 million+ dollars (that's taxpayer money). They also appear to have been running other scams as well. And since they had access to sensitive material, the issue of whether or not they were properly vetted matters too, I think.
Because all of them--except for one--have managed to flee the country, to Pakistan of all places. It may not be North Korea, but it's a lit closer to that than it is to Canada (in terms of our relations to the country and threats to us within it).
