A City University of New York sociology professor reportedly said in a tweetstorm last week that “the white-nuclear family” promotes racism, prompting a backlash on social media.
Jessie Daniels, described as an expert on “the Internet manifestations of racism” on her CUNY page, infuriated social media users after reportedly saying that white families promote racism by default.
She, as a white woman, seems to think that white people having children, who by basic biology would be white, is furthering white supremacy. I saw this on twitter when it unfolded, before she made her account private, but thought she was just a random nut, not a college professor.
A few weeks ago was this.

A New York professor drew ire from City University administrators and law enforcement officials because of a tweet in which he said teaching “future dead cops” is “a privilege.”
Michael Isaacson, an adjunct professor at CUNY’s John Jay College of Criminal Justice, was placed on administrative leave because of the three-week-old tweet, which appears to have recently caught the attention of the college’s president and New York City’s largest police union.
Of course, with a POTUS who needs to have his thumbs surgically removed it's hardly fair to say this is unique to college professors, but still. Shouldn't these people know better?
