If we are going to compare the administrations and political acumen of Bill Clinton and Donald Trump, you'll get no argument from me. Clinton, for all his shortcomings, knew what he was doing and was a pretty damn fine President in my opinion.
If we are comparing their general sexual proclivities and creep factors, as I thought we were, I'll maintain there isn't a ton of difference between them. As Cosby proved, someone can be damned good at their job and still be a creep.

Saving in a savings account is pointless. So are old stand by things like treasury bonds, giving a paltry less than 3% return.
Smart investing is the best way to save for the future, but so many people are convinced there is something magical or mysterious about the market that makes this hard to do.

We'll agree to disagree, but you do seem to be limiting Clinton's bad acts to his time in the White House. The reality is he has allegations of everything from inappropriate contact to flat out rape going back 40 years.
A creep is a creep is a creep.

Maybe not quite in the same league, but I don't think Trump and Clinton are as far apart as you indicate.

An Alford plea basically means the defendant is maintaining their claim of innocence yet recognizing the fact there is enough evidence to convict them, therefore they are taking the plea deal because it is too good to pass up. The West Memphis Three are probably the most well known cases.
Anyway, this is a perfect example of the reverse sexism that exists in cases like these, female on male sexual assault. It is just not taken as seriously in the courts it seems.

Oh, absolutely. Maybe I just have a dark sense of humor, but I find the entire Trump presidency great comedy. I watched a documentary last night called Left of the Dial, about the beginnings of Air America Radio. It was made in 2004. It cracked me up to see how many people were running around with their hair on fire proclaiming Bush was going to end the world and bring down our precious Democracy (Republic really). If they only knew....

Legal or Illegal is most certainly the most important question in THEIR view. Morals, ethics, etc....bleh, who cares? No news cycle lasts longer than 24 hours anyway. Aside from that, despite all the deplorable facts known about Trump he was: A) Still elected and B) Currently has a rising approval rating.....why should THEY care about optics? After all, no news cycle lasts more than 24 hours and the vast majority of the American public has was amounts to ADHD.
In order:
1) I agree.
2) Perhaps and even most likely. But really, so what?
3) The first part...is this unique in the history of the Presidency? The second part....again, I don't think this is unique in the history of the Presidency nor in the history of politicians in general. Anyone who arises to high power certainly has more than a couple of skeletons in the closet.

At any rate, even if you want to get rid of the books to make room for others, I completely disagree with the reasons for getting rid of them. We should be confronting and discussing our history, not hushing it up and pretending it didn't happen. I could not agree more with this. It seems lately anything that causes anyone the slightest bit of discomfort goes on a banned list of some sort.

But what's even better is how Cohen is acting like the prospect of an illegal campaign contribution is the worst accusation here. From a legal stand point it is. While morally objectionable, there is nothing illegal about either an affair or hush money.

I can't disagree with the hypocrisy of it. I'm just saying someone violates the flag code is someway everyday. Take the Olympics as a timely example. Any athlete does well and they take a victory lap draped in the flag. No one bats an eye.
I find this bear hilarious and incredibly tacky and in poor taste, much like an Adam Sandler comedy. But I can't just work up any outrage over the flag stuffed in its back no matter the amount of hypocrisy displayed.

What have schools been teaching this last several decades, anyway? People can't do basic math, they don't know the difference between there, they're, and their, they don't know Australia is a country, and they think North Korea is in North America. Education worked much better before DC panicked over a few rigged "world ranking" indexes and tried to fix it.

Well, Trump did take credit for the soaring market. What better opportunity for Soros and his cronies to damage Trump's reputation than by tanking the market? So this billionaire gets together with a few of his cronies and orchestrates a dazzling sell off that sends the volatility index soaring. This causes the inverse volatility index the crash. As this had become a favorite place for hedge fund managers to "hedge" their potential losses, this resulted in massive losses among hedge funds. They had to sell off equities to remain solvent, leading to further panic selling. The result: a fixed market crash orchestrated by elements of the globalist left all in the hopes of derailing Trump's credibility.
Good enough?

23k will be the hard support. The markets will continue to bounce like a rubber band until all the hedge fund managers extract themselves from the VIX and similar funds or go belly up.
It will be hard for even the massive short sell-offs to drive the market below that point since there is nothing fundamentally wrong with the market or the companies behind the stocks.

In the meantime, Elon Musk had a nice, live video feed of the Falcon Heavy launch today that goes from ground level to about 150KM up and shows.....a shockingly nice curvature to the Earth!
