Yeah, the political arena is--if nothing else--a great way to separate narcissistic billionaires from some of their cash.

Re the Dem nomination:
I am this close *holds up thumb and forefinger so they are almost touching* to just abandoning social media until after the election. Even people who I generally like and respect are losing their goddamn minds over this. It's not the first time one of the major parties is preparing to nominate a dog who won't hunt and it won't be the last time. And while the current denizen of the Oval Office may be--imo--an embarrassment, may be an egomaniac, may even be transparently corrupt (yet still clinging to technicalities in this regard, just like his predecessors), none of that makes him Satan, much less Hitler, Mussolini, or even Henry VIII. We're almost through a full term and--like it or not--the nation is not a pit of despair, bodies aren't piling up in the streets, and so forth.

Also, the betting odds have Sanders now at well over 50%, with Bloomberg and Buttigieg at distant 2nd and 3rd places, respectively. Biden is toast, Warren is burnt toast, the silliness I'm seeing about how it's not over for either of them is...well, silliness.

But what about all the "voices/existences" he's supposedly "silenced" with his mean tweets and all the death and pain his words have caused because "words are violence!"

I didn't watch the debate, too busy doing homework. Someone I know (Not well) insists Bloomberg won. Yet lots of people believe the opposite. That person is either yanking your chain or completely blinded by their biases. Bloomberg got obliterated. I'll go with blinded. He's constantly posting pro Bloomberg posts, so he probably believes it.

What the left has to understand, in order to beat Trump, is that a majority of the voting body doesn't care what the hell Trump says as long as they look at their retirement accounts and see large gains.

Biden pivots, announces run for Senate seat in South Carolina:
Doesn't he need to establish residency in SC first?

That doesn't mean Biden didn't have a meeting with him. It just means Deng Xiaoping wasn't very active. And probably smelled bad. Which means he didn't complain if Biden hugged him and invaded his personal space.

I'm imaging and 80s slapstick comedy with Joe and Xiaoping called, "Weekend at Dengie's."

Watching the debate right now and Biden just seriously said/implied that 150 million people in the US have died from gun-related deaths since 2007.
That would be roughly 1/3 of the entire population. I'm pretty sure we would've noticed that if it were true.
I think Biden is confusing "guns" with "Thanos."
Also, why is Steyer even there?
