Weird, Not for me, and I don't subscribe to FT.
But I just shared all of the charts via twitter, so you can see them there. This one is the homicide rare in Venezuela:

www.cnn.com/2017/08/01/americas/venezuela-election-unrest/index.htmlJust in case anyone isn't clear about what lies ahead for Venezuela: Venezuela is Cuba. And what I mean by that is that it's no longer going to be possible to trust anything coming out of the country, going forward. Because the people of Venezuela are out of options; most are going to have to play ball if they want to have any chance of any sort of life.

Here's a case where I'd chip-in on a tightly-targeted drone strike. Same for the loon running North Korea. Of course, there's a reason the political class considers targeting the political class a war crime. Far better a few thousand worker bees become cannon fodder than one political class member meet his maker.

It's frightening. And again, it puts people in a bind. Because if saying one supports Maduro, if being willing to hold up signs or the like to prove it, might get one access to food or water--or even a chance at such access--how can someone on the outside really be critical of this choice?

From Cass' link, life in Caracas in 2014.
Sound familiar?
Economic collapse happens fast.

Taking aside the debate over whether the U.S. should or should not take sides in conflics and elections in other countries --
does it mean we should not object when hostile powers hack into our systems, or try to prevent them from doing it in future?
does it mean we should be hunky dory with them submitting false propaganda to influence our peaceful election process?
Really?
Protest our getting involved in other countries' affairs if you like. But it's silly to say "hey, I'm cool with us being hacked."
I also submit that meddling in order to disrupt a peaceful, orderly democratic system, especially by illegal means or false information, is a bit different than weighing in to help one side when there is violent conflict, starvation, oppression, human rights abuses, etc.
