Someone is worried... FYI, btw, keep in mind as the inevitable Deep State Dem Conspiracy stuff starts (and it will) -- ETA:
I know we're all getting numb to Trump's outbursts, but this perspective from a German reporter is worth keeping in mind...

Here's good question -- and my answer is "I doubt it":

By the way, I just want to remind everyone that I opined a while back in this thread that the Stormy thing was a much bigger deal than many were thinking, and might just be a catalyst to bringing Trump down.
I'm doubling down on that prediction. This FBI raid on a lawyer's office, the POTUS's lawyer's office, no less, (which it appears is coming about because of stuff the Stormy debacle set in motion) is a very big deal indeed, and never would have been allowed if they didn't have some pretty solid evidence Cohen was involved in a crime.
Another thing -- because the SDNY is involved here, this doesn't go away if Trump fires Mueller.
And if you think Trump won't be implicated in whatever dirt Cohen is neck-deep in, well, good luck with that.
I'm tripling down.

The Cohen raid was so yuuuge I almost forgot about Trump's Family business trying to strong arm Panama. Article attached to tweet.

By the way, can't recall if my first article made it clear, but they raided Cohen's home and a hotel room he's been using as well as his office -- and they did not give him notice they were coming.
This means (1) they (and "they" in this case means a lot of people and not just in the FBI) have good reason to believe they'll find something very serious, 2) Cohen has given them good reason to think he won't cooperate and/or might destroy evidence.

I gotta get some work done, so I'll have to come back to thus. But today, as Trump (incorrectly) lambasred Comey as a "liar" and "leaker", he pardoned an actual liar and leaker.
Buckle up, people. Cass's prediction: Trump is going to go all out cray-cray in short order, pardoning his buddies and tearing down those who he perceives as his enemies, in aanner that leaves Nixon far, far in the dust.

Comey is no saint. Turning him into one simply because Trump is awful is a mistake, imo. He sucked mightily at his job. Not nearly as bad as Trump sucks at his job, but sucking is still sucking. Most everyone seemed to know this once upon a time, but most have conveniently forgotten it. And I think there are cases to be made re Comey leaking and lying.
As to Scooter Libby...LOL. It's meaningless and designed to wind people up. Which is exactly what it has done. Sad, how easily people allow themselves to get played.
As to your prediction, Cass, I bet someone has made such a prediction pretty much every week since Trump took office. And I'm not sure how we would even know the difference if Trump were to go "cray-cray."
