I only seen a few you tube clips of of just a couple of the candidates in the debate. With that said,
Bernie - Very entertaining guy. Love his expressionism, arm waving, hair every which way, get off my lawn style. Lovable grandpa.
Tulsi - Very cool bitch slap of Harris. She was rocking that wardrobe, by far the best looking candidate running this year.
Booker - Hate the way that guy looks. Too much petulance.

The Clinton's, years ago, tought us to reevaluate our assumptions of what marriage is all about.
And who knows, maybe it's a trigger competition to see who gets to keep the house. ((Shrug))

Just curious: do you guys think Trump was aware that AOC, Pressley, and Tlaib are not immigrants? I don't think he was focusing on the "immigrant" angle. I think he was making a crack about their heritage.

That said, Nancy Pelosi can not allow Trump and the Republicans to run her caucus. Trump is playing Pelosi and she is stupidly falling for it.
So, I'm calling bullshit on Pelosi. And I'm calling bullshit on Trump. And I'm calling bullshit on anyone who is more happy that The Squad had their collective knuckles rapped by Pelosi than they are outraged that the Racist-In-Chief told them to "go back where they came from."
This is Trump being the racist he's always been and gaslighting the Dems by trying to turn a family feud into a civil war and here comes Trump to pour some economy unleaded on it. It's a nice distraction from the Jeffrey Epstein/Donald Trump relationship and what sort of fun they were having with those young, fresh girls.
Because that's what a gaslighter does. Distract. Cause drama. Create conflict. Fuck shit up. If you didn't know now you do.
Hell yeah he's playing Nancy, he's also playing the fab four, and the five of them are swallowing that shit hook-line-and sinker.
God damn Trump is good at this stuff. Lets see, what was that ICE thing people were talking about yesterday?

I think we are finding that the "basket of deplorables" is much bigger than first thought.
You got a basket of deplorables on the left. and a basket of deplorables on the right, and a basket of deplorables in the middle, all screaming at each other "hey!, you're stealing my moves".
I'm thinking the academic types are becoming obsolete with the use of social media.(meaning well thought out policy matters don't mean jack to voters.)
So yeah, it only gets worse from here.

So, Cass. Yeah, pretty much. Private is private. Insults? Who gives a shit....what are we, children? If someone is a vile, disgusting piece of shit to me in private, I'm probably not going to engage with that person. But I'm not going to share a private message without a damn good reason. Your example of creepy sex stalking would be such a reason. Being called names....who cares? And I'm not falling for any bullshit. I know NT is abrasive. We've butted heads a few times. We've been on the same side a few times. I think he's over the top sometimes. I think YOU are over the top sometimes. Whatever. I'm not condoning or supporting EITHER of you hurling insults at the other. All I'm saying is sharing a private message - that from what I understand wasn't even SENT TO YOU - to a public board is a pretty shitty thing to do. When a private message is shared by the perp with two of his fanboys or fangirls, it is, by definition, no longer a private message. Private is one on one. When you bring your audience in to see your brilliant post, all bets are off. In another world, I had the pleasure of serving as a moderator and enjoyed receiving the abuse via PM of many members because of that fact. One member in particular stands out. But because the PMs weren't copied to others, I honored the privacy, even though they were nothing but angry screeds full of personal attacks. And almost, but not quite accusing me of being a racist. It's always almost. He can't come out and say it. He's very careful that way. Sorry, but your definition sucks. The real definition is
"Definition of private
(Entry 1 of 2) 1a : intended for or restricted to the use of a particular person, group, or class a private park"
Perhaps we should let these peas sort this out for themselves?

At least Cass should know that, although I held my nose and crossed my fingers when I voted for Trump in 2016, I will do so GLADLY in 2020 and that is almost entirely due to Cass. I don't want to get involved in this particular pissing match, but wanted to comment on this one bolded line.
Change the word "Cass" to "Dem rhetoric" over the past 3 years, and you have the main reason for Trumps likely getting a second term.
The whole anti Trump nastiness jumped the massive shark some time ago. 3 years squandered, just like that. ((shaking head))
All my own opinion of course.

Thank you for your response, Mikey. And actually, I'm quite interested to hear you're likely to stay home rather than vote Trump. And also interested that you'd vote Sanders over Trump. Why? (If you want to tell us.) I admit you've surprised me, and it's a perspective I'm sincerely interested in hearing. In all sincerity, I started this thread as a pure information-gathering enterprise to see where non-party diehards are. If you're not "GOP no matter what," that certainly includes you. ETA: A further question, if you choose to answer it: What is the appeal of Sanders for you versus the Democratic platform? Why does Sanders appeal to you when you dislike the platform? Sorry for taking so long to get back to you Cass, but my first attempt at a response turned out to be a little too ranty. As far as Sanders goes, he seems to me as the least status quo candidate out of the whole Dem field. As far as his socialism thing, I don't even know what people mean by "socialism" anymore. In my view, the US is already a socialist country, at least for corporations ( think "too big to fail", "subsidies", "limited liability", and such )and government employees. I think we should have socialism for everybody, or socialism for nobody. But I know I'm a minority in these matters and my pie-in-the-sky equality dream is a non starter. So go Bernie, tip over that apple cart.
Just to reiterate, I'll most likely stay home on voting day.

I know you didn't ask me, but seeing as how I am a US citizen, and can legally vote, I seriously doubt I'd vote for any Democrat.
Not because of any particular candidate, but because the DNC platform. I would no more become a member of the DNC than I would become a member of the KKK. I feel almost the same way towards the RNC.
So to answer your question,If Bernie was third party, I'd vote Bernie. Other than that I'm likely to stay home.
Although I would not vote for Trump, 4 more years of this entertainment would not hurt my feelings,

Sarah is one helluva courageous woman IMO How so? I'm sure you're aware of who her boss was, and what her job was at the white house. As I'm sure you are aware of the animosity and enmity the press people had for the woman.
Yet she did the job for what? two years? or so.
I wouldn't want that job after two minutes let alone two years, no matter who the boss was.
YMMV of course
