I think many of us are still hung up on old's math. When new math ( alternately young's math) is used, you get a corecter outcome.

He meant King George, of course. He was having a flashback to his childhood.

Also, let's be fair to Biden. He was talking to George Lopez and his mention of "George" could've just been the product of a word skip and/or stutter (i.e., he omitted a word or two):

That defense assumes Biden actually knew he was talking to George Lopez.
Hey, maybe Weigel has a point. I can't really say. But it's still a gaffe, and a damn funny one imo. Biden gives good gaffe.
Yet the automatic response from a supposed journalist like Weigel is to defend Biden, to "correct" any sort of criticism or "debunk" any story that makes Biden look less-than-stellar. Pa-thetic.

Sure, but I try to give people the benefit of the doubt first, whether it's Biden or Trump (and Trump tends to destroy that benefit at an astronomically higher frequency than Biden, at least for me).

He was talking to George Lopez and his mention of "George" could've just been the product of a word skip and/or stutter (i.e., he omitted a word or two): I agree that's possible, but it really sounded to me like he was trying to say "George" and then a last name, but either couldn't remember or couldn't articulate the last name. In that context, "Four more years of George Bush" would make far more sense than "Four more years of George Lopez", IMO. (Well, except for the fact that Bush isn't president anymore, obviously. )

Okay, time to put up or shut up. What's your prediction?
Mine (in electoral votes, because that's how it works):
Biden 293 Trump 245

I think its pretty similar to 2016, so:
Trump 304 Biden 227

I think Trump losses two of the swing states he won in 2016
Trump 278
Biden 258
My dark horse surprise this year is Oregon. Now I've got no charts, graphs, or statistics to back up my predictions, but amazingly, ( to me ) I've run into a hellofalot of closeted Trump supporters who I know for certain were Trump haters just two years ago.
I think the Portland riots have wore down the populace within the Willamette valley. The rest of the state is already red.

Speaking of electoral votes: The Electoral College, explainedJesus H. Christ. It's been the system since day one of the USA. It's not bizarre and it's not a Frankenstein's monster. It makes perfect sense to anyone who has, you know, gone to school and learned American History (which doesn't mean one has to agree with it and the "why" behind its creation). Idiot.

I do think Biden seems like he has more support than Trump, but the snag for me is that Trump seems likely to mount legal challenges and could probably win those challenges. Am I being overly pessimistic?
